Amar Sarkar is a doctoral student in the Department of Human Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University, where he researches the human microbiome. Previously, he studied both Neuroscience and Evolutionary Biology at Trinity College, Cambridge. He was born in New Delhi, India, and he has been in India since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
