About

Askold Krushelnycky is an author and journalist who has lived in Washington, DC since 2011. Born in London to Ukrainian refugee parents, he gained a BSc in Industrial Chemistry and a postgraduate diploma in journalism. He began as a reporter on the South London Press and went on to work as a staff foreign correspondent for several British national newspapers, including The Sunday Times and The European, and has contributed to many British and American publications. He reported in Crimea during the Russian invasion and has covered the subsequent conflict in Eastern Ukraine. In 2006 his book An Orange Revolution was published by Harvill Secker/Random House. He is planning a book about Ukraine and events since the 2014 revolution there and the start of the ongoing military conflict after Russia invaded.
