We also appreciate interdisciplinary writing which combines two or more of our three areas. And we value a diverse range of contributions, be they academic, journalistic, or creative.

We have a maximum word limit of 6,000 words for all articles, including footnotes.

Alongside our print editions, we regularly publish online-only articles. For these pieces, we encourage the inventive use of multimedia material.
